The Queso de Bola (literally "ball of cheese"; edam cheese) is a cheese molded to form the shape of a ball. Together with bibingka and hamon it has long been one of the foods that serves as a Christmas icon in the Philippines. This food is very popular among Filipinos and usually bought during Christmas. It is also typical in Spain.
